Connecting Road Church
Every Sunday we get together to connect. We read the Bible, but we also have other readings from other writers and perspectives. We sing a lot of different songs that aren't necessarily churchy, but that folks connect to (requests always considered). We meditate and we pray.
We All Need to Get Away Sometimes
A pilgrimage involves going somewhere that’s good for the soul. It’s about doing something out of the ordinary on a quest for spiritual freedom, perhaps, or maybe spiritual devotion to an idea that says by going on this journey your spirit will be renewed.
Just A Thought
Excited About Starting New Things
I tend to get excited about new stuff, even new realities. Granted, they aren't all great, but there's something exciting about fresh starts. I've faced a few things that have given me lots of grief, but then, as Aerosmith says, "the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright." It's a weird moment when you have to grieve losses, but then have to move on and experience a sense of new freedom. When my mom died when I was a teenager, I felt almost guilty because even though I was still desperately heartbroken, I felt like there was a new beginning waiting for me. At first I was pissed off that the sun dared to rise, but then that rising shined on new paths and possibilities.

One of our goals is to have a good list of projects that anybody can work on with little or no preparation—so if you wake up on Saturday morning and decide you want to get your hands dirty in service, then you can look here on the site and we’ll have a list of things you can do on your own, as a family, or as a group of friends.
